IN-BUILDING AND DAS SYSTEMS

The world of wireless voice and data is dominated by in-building subscribers who also require seamless reception of both indoor and outdoor radio signals. Unlike the technology of previous generations, new-age, in-building wireless data requirements cannot be met by relying only on the external/macro network-QoS capabilities. DAS is the immediate for dedicated, purpose-built, in-building RF coverage systems; carrying the capacity to meet today’s in-building occupant needs, while also enabling growth to prepare for the demands of future occupants.

BCI offers complete Distributed Antenna System (DAS) solutions to help wireless service providers deliver coverage in today’s most challenging environments. Our solutions include In-Building Distributed Antenna Systems and Outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems, which may be used alone or in combination to meet the coverage requirements.

Our infrastructure products and network deployment services are aligned with the goals of wireless service providers—to deploy the most cost-effective coverage solutions for a given environment. This may include towers, rooftops, Distributed Antenna Systems or any combination of sites.

IN-BUILDING DAS

BCI gives wireless service providers access to malls, airports, convention center, stadiums, tunnels, basements and casinos nationwide through our in-building DAS networks. We’ve been providing network development services for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) since 1995 and today we continue to develop and maintain more DAS networks than any other neutral host provider.

OUTDOOR DAS

BCI delivers outdoor DAS solutions in today’s challenging zoning environments. We work with wireless service providers and local communities to deliver superior coverage in locations where towers are not a viable option. Our turn-key solutions include everything from site acquisition and permitting; to site design, construction and 24/7 monitoring.

Depending on the property needs and the goals of wireless service providers, BCI can install different types of in-building DAS solutions. Our systems enable property owners to install one wireless infrastructure that supports all service providers and frequencies. Installation is simple for the service providers and non-intrusive to the building’s everyday operations.

STRATEGIC APPROACH TO SYSTEM DESIGN

As the adoption of mobile broadband services increases, so too does the demand for enterprise- grade, ubiquitous wireless coverage and capacity. Today’s mobile subscribers will no longer accept dead spots or poor signal quality, regardless of where they are. The consequence for wireless carriers is churn and a loss of vital market share. For building owners, campus environments and high-volume public venues the risk is customer frustration and dissatisfaction that could result in a loss of business. Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) offer wireless carriers and building owners alike the ability to provide uninterrupted wireless coverage, with enough capacity for next generation mobile broadband services.

DAS technologies and practices are constantly evolving. BCI is here to help you with that evolution.
